Fore the Animals 2026: A Look Back

What an incredible first run of this inaugural fundraiser for the No Kill cause! This past Monday, avid golfers and supporters of animal welfare gathered for an unforgettable golf tournament.  

Mother Nature showed up to play too, giving golfers a literal rainstorm to golf through! Thank you to the players that made this year’s event such a success. You truly showed us the meaning of rain or shine, including in your positive attitudes in the cold rain! 

A huge thanks to our incredible sponsors, without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible. Our incredible Presenting Sponsor Academy Bank were a hole-in-one team. 

A delicious selection of breakfast burritos kept us warm, sponsored by No Kill Colorado. Liquid libations, thoughtfully sponsored by longtime supporter, Michelle Losasso of Merrill Lynch, included a Bloody Mary bar and Arnold Palmer station.  

Brooke Merino made sure each team went home with high quality golf balls, and personally handed each participant a tote bag!  

A big thank you to T-Mobile for their sponsorship of this year’s event, which included a stellar raffle for an iPad Pro.  

Mile High Spirits provided their incredible Elevate Vodka for the Bloody Mary bar and Kong donated high-quality dog toys for our swag bags and raffle. 

Gruvi sponsored our non-alcoholic beverage selection for our dedicated volunteers. We’re also grateful to Leven Deli for satiating our volunteers with delicious, packed lunches.
