All Exams: $50.00

True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for all services. 

We do not accept online appointments. You must call 303-595-0532 to schedule your appointment exam or email appointments@truecompanions.org. True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic experiences a very high call volume. We do our best to respond to all messages.

Please be on time for your scheduled exam. Arriving over 10 minutes late will result in a $19.00 late fee.

Please note:
There is a $39 charge for missed appointments if not canceled 24 hours in advance. Payment for missed exams will be charged the day that you bring your animal in.

We will make every effort to accommodate your time request. However, appointments are on a first call, first scheduled basis.

DOGS

Prices depend on your pet's weight:

  • Neuter: $196 - $258
  • Spay: $222 - $318

These prices include the surgical procedure, IV catheter fluids, anesthesia, pain injection and nail trim. A presurgical exam ($50) and proof of vaccinations are required prior to your pet's spay or neuter surgery.

CATS

Prices:

  • Neuter: $125 

  • Spay: $166 

These prices include the surgical procedure, IV catheter fluids, anesthesia, pain injection and nail trim. A presurgical exam ($50) and proof of vaccinations are required prior to your pet's spay or neuter surgery.

A $50 exam and proof of your pet's vaccinations are required prior to your animal's spay or neuter surgery. 

To schedule an exam, send proof of your pet’s up-to-date vaccinations (if we do not already have them) to appointments@truecompanions.org. Then call 303-595-0532 to schedule a date for surgery. Thank you!

Additional services we may recommend:

We offer Care Credit to those of you who have been asking about payment plans. Payment plans are now available with approved credit through Care Credit!

Please use the Care Credit link below to go through the approval process if you do not currently have a Care Credit card. 
When you come see us we will need:

  • Your Care Credit card OR your account number (if you have not yet received your card).  
  • 2 forms of ID (picture and additional)

Dogs Core Vaccinations:

  • 1 yr Rabies = $28
  • 3 yr Rabies = $38 (must qualify)
  • 1 yr DHPP = $30
  • 3 yr DHPP = $32 (must qualify)

ADDITIONAL VACCINATIONS:

  • Leptospirosis = $30
    • Leptospirosis Booster = $30
  • Bordetella = $25

DEWORMING:

  • Patients < 30 lbs: $15
  • Patients > 30 lbs: $20
CATS

We now offer outpatient Parvo treatment.

True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic offers supportive treatment that can be administered at home if you are financially unable to have your animal hospitalized. The cost range is dependent on the size of your animal.  Please call 303-595-0532for more information.

Preventing Parvo means understanding the importance of vaccinating your puppy or kitten.
Vaccinations are typically given at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age. These vaccinations are referred to as a “series”.
These vaccinations are time-sensitive and need to be given 3-4 weeks apart through 16 weeks of age.

Until your puppy or kitten has had a “series” of vaccinations, they are not protected.  Keep puppies out of parks, or any other areas where you are unsure of the health and vaccination status of the other animals around.  For more information about Parvo treatment, please contact True Companions Animal Shelter & Clinic.
